The Story Behind the
Impact
Our Story
Meeks Impact Law was founded on a simple idea: when someone’s life is disrupted by an injury or loss, they deserve clarity, support, and a team that is fully invested in what happens next.
As our firm has grown, so has our ability to serve clients beyond Georgia. Through our relationship with Alabama trial attorney William “Trey” Traylor, we are able to bring that same commitment to clients across Alabama, while ensuring that every case benefits from experienced, trial-ready leadership.
Trey has spent more than 40 years in the courtroom, handling serious injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation matters. Together, we’ve built a structure that combines his depth of trial experience with the support, communication, and case coordination our team is known for.
For clients, that means you are not navigating this alone. You have a team working behind the scenes and an experienced Alabama attorney guiding the legal strategy from start to finish.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide clear, honest, and experienced legal guidance to people facing some of the most difficult moments in their lives. We take the time to understand what someone is going through, how their situation has affected them, and what they need in order to move forward with clarity and confidence.
For our clients across Alabama, that means working directly with a seasoned trial attorney while also having the support of a team focused on communication, coordination, and consistent guidance throughout the process.
The way we approach our work is grounded in a set of core principles. We believe everyone matters and that the best outcomes come from working together with purpose, respect, and a shared commitment to doing what is right.
We are committed to continuous improvement, holding ourselves to a high standard while bringing professionalism, responsiveness, and empathy to every interaction. Each case is approached with care, attention, and respect for the trust our clients place in us.
We also recognize that outcomes matter. We combine preparation, experience, and resourcefulness with a commitment to steady, thoughtful advocacy, ensuring every case is handled with the attention and strategy it deserves from start to finish.
Our Approach
Every case begins with listening. We take the time to understand what happened, how it has affected you, and what questions you need answered.
For Alabama matters, legal strategy and case direction are led by Trey Traylor, an Alabama-licensed attorney with decades of courtroom experience. At the same time, the Meeks Impact Law team supports the process through communication, coordination, and case development.
Behind the scenes, we handle the details, including working with insurance companies, gathering records, and building a clear understanding of the case. You receive updates, guidance, and consistent communication so you are never left guessing what comes next.
We believe legal representation should feel steady, clear, and grounded in experience. By combining decades of courtroom insight with a team that prioritizes communication and support, we are able to serve clients with both depth and accessibility.
When someone is dealing with a serious injury or loss, they should not feel overlooked or uncertain about where to turn. Our goal is to bring clarity to a complex process and provide guidance you can rely on from start to finish.

William “Trey” Traylor
Alabama Attorney (Of Counsel)Trey's Bio
William “Trey” Traylor, Of Counsel Attorney
I have spent more than four decades in the courtroom representing individuals and families in serious injury, wrongful death, and complex estate litigation matters. Over that time, I have tried more than 200 jury trials to verdict and handled cases at every stage, from initial investigation through appeal.
My practice is focused on cases where the stakes are high and the details matter. Whether it involves a catastrophic injury, the loss of a loved one, or a complicated dispute, I approach each case with preparation, strategy, and the expectation that it may ultimately need to be tried. That perspective shapes how I evaluate cases, how I prepare them, and how I guide clients through the process.
I have had the opportunity to argue cases before the Supreme Courts of Alabama and Georgia, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. I have been recognized as an Alabama Super Lawyer each year since 2009, am a past president of the Alabama Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and hold an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
After many years at a single firm, I chose to build a practice centered on direct attorney involvement. I believe clients should have access to the lawyer responsible for their case and a clear understanding of what is happening at each stage.
In working with Meeks Impact Law, I oversee Alabama matters and work alongside their team to ensure cases are supported, organized, and moving forward. This structure allows clients to benefit from both experienced legal direction and a team that prioritizes communication and responsiveness.
Every case is different, but the goal remains the same: to provide steady guidance, thoughtful preparation, and representation that is ready for whatever the case requires.
Zachary Meeks
Meeks Impact Law Injury AttorneyZach's Bio
My passion lies in helping people who have been injured pursue the justice and compensation they deserve. Every client who comes to us is facing a difficult, often overwhelming situation, and I take pride in guiding them through the legal process with clarity, compassion, and steady advocacy. I also place a strong emphasis on building and supporting our team, so we can deliver thoughtful, high-quality representation with a personal approach.
As the founder of Meeks Impact Law, I oversee our Georgia cases and work closely with clients and our legal team to ensure each matter is handled with care, strategy, and clear communication. Our goal is to create an experience where clients feel informed, supported, and confident in the path forward.
One of the most meaningful cases I have handled involved a client who suffered a devastating, life-altering injury in a car accident. She was facing more than $600,000 in medical bills, an impossible burden for anyone. While no result could undo what she endured, I worked to secure the strongest recovery possible and successfully negotiated her medical bills down to just seven percent of the total. Seeing her relief when she realized she could move forward without overwhelming financial pressure reaffirmed why this work matters so deeply to me.
My approach to every case begins with listening. I want to understand each client’s goals, concerns, and priorities before building a strategy that truly serves their best interests. Advocacy is not just about fighting, it is about guiding people toward the best possible outcome with honesty, transparency, and care. That philosophy is at the core of our firm. We believe communication should be consistent and clear, and that clients should never feel left in the dark about their case.
“Advocacy is not just about fighting, it is about guiding people toward the best possible outcome with honesty, transparency, and care.”
I am a native Georgian who grew up in Alpharetta and now lives in Suwanee, though Alabama has always been a second home. I'm a big Bama fan (Roll Tide) and graduated from law school in Alabama, at Faulkner University. Being part of this Southern community has shaped my perspective and deepened my commitment to serving the people who call it home. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, college football and basketball, traveling with family and friends, and studying history.
For me, being an attorney is more than a profession. It is an opportunity to serve others during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. I stay actively involved in the community through my church, The Vine Community Church, and by supporting local nonprofits. I am also a member of the Forsyth County Chamber, BNI I Gotta Guy in Gwinnett County, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and Windermere Golf Club. Through my work, both inside and outside the courtroom, I strive to continue making a meaningful impact for the people and communities we serve.
Beverly Parnell-Vasquez
Meeks Impact Law Injury AttorneyBeverly's Bio
As a litigation attorney at Meeks Impact Law, I am deeply committed to giving my clients peace of mind and treating every case with the same care and urgency I would give to a family member. Being injured and suddenly pulled into the legal system can feel overwhelming, confusing, and isolating. I understand how heavy that experience can be, and my goal is to ease that burden by making sure every client knows they are supported by a team that is fully invested in their future.
One of the most rewarding cases I have handled involved helping a trucking company owner fight for justice after his driver was wrongly blamed for a serious crash. He had worked tirelessly to build his business, and an unfair accusation threatened everything he had created. After closely examining the evidence, dash camera footage revealed the truth. Another driver had acted recklessly and caused the collision. Clearing his name was about far more than winning a case. It restored his peace of mind, protected his reputation, and safeguarded his livelihood. Seeing that relief reminded me why this work matters so much.
I approach every case with the golden rule in mind, treating clients the way I would want my own loved ones to be treated. That level of care and personal connection is what sets Meeks Impact Law apart. We are not a firm that sees people as case numbers. We listen, we care, and we fight for every client as if their case were our own.
I was born in Savannah, raised in Loganville, and now call Lawrenceville home. Growing up in the country instilled in me a deep respect for hard work, resilience, and integrity, values that guide me in my legal career every day. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my husband, shopping, and taking any opportunity I can to ride horses. My personal motto is simple: Today is the first day of the rest of your life, so live each day to the fullest.
Helping injury victims rebuild their lives is incredibly meaningful to me. After everything they have been through, they deserve someone firmly in their corner. While my current community involvement is primarily through donations, I am always open to new opportunities to give back and make a positive impact.
Melissa Meeks
Legal Nurse ConsultantMelissa's Bio
With more than 15 years of experience as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department, I have dedicated my career to helping people during their most vulnerable moments. As a certified ER nurse and member of the Emergency Nurses Association, I have worked in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where accurate assessment and detailed documentation are essential. That background provides a strong foundation for my work as a legal nurse consultant, where I help bridge the gap between medicine and the law so complex medical issues are clearly understood in the pursuit of justice.
At Meeks Impact Law, I provide insights and a medical perspective on matters involving significant medical components. I understand firsthand how overwhelming medical situations can be for injury victims and their families. I take pride in using my clinical experience to support cases with thorough, accurate medical analysis and to help ensure each client’s story is fully and fairly represented. Working at the intersection of healthcare and the legal system allows me to continue making a meaningful impact while advocating for those who need it most.
Community and compassion are values that shape both my nursing career and my approach to legal consulting. Outside of work, I enjoy starting my mornings with a good cup of coffee, getting lost in a great book, practicing yoga, and spending time with my family on the lake.
Helping injury victims goes beyond legal strategy. It means ensuring they have the support, resources, and advocacy needed to heal and move forward. I am grateful to be part of that mission and to work alongside a team that genuinely cares about the people we serve.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to support injured victims as they navigate the challenges of a personal injury case. After an accident, managing medical care, vehicle repairs, and insurance companies can feel overwhelming. I focus on making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible by staying organized, communicating clearly, and making sure our clients always know what to expect. Whether I am coordinating medical treatment, providing case updates, or answering questions along the way, my goal is to be a steady and reliable source of support during a difficult time.
What I enjoy most about my work is seeing the real difference our firm makes in people’s lives. At Meeks Impact Law, we do more than manage cases. We help people regain confidence and move forward after a challenging experience. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a client go from feeling unsure and overwhelmed to knowing they have a team fully committed to standing up for them.
Born and raised in Atlanta, I attended Oglethorpe University and have always appreciated the energy and diversity of the city. Outside of work, I enjoy practicing hot yoga, attending live music events, traveling, and discovering new restaurants around Atlanta. I also love photography and spending time with friends, family, and my cat, Penny.
Helping injury victims is more than a job to me. It is a responsibility I take seriously. Every person we assist is facing a difficult chapter, and I am proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in their lives.
Amanda Graves
ParalegalAmanda's Bio
Helping clients find calm in the middle of chaos is what motivates me most. After an accident, life can feel completely turned upside down, and for many people, this is the first time they have ever had to navigate the personal injury process. I take pride in guiding clients through each step, helping coordinate the details, and giving them a steady source of support as they focus on healing. One of the most meaningful parts of my role is hearing the stress in someone’s voice lessen with every conversation as they realize they are not facing this alone.
One experience that has always stayed with me involved a young delivery driver who was hit head-on and suffered multiple serious injuries. She was told she might walk with a limp for the rest of her life, but after nearly two years of surgeries, appointments, and physical therapy, she made a full recovery and even completed her first marathon. Being there to support her through the hardest parts of that journey and seeing where she is now was an incredible reminder of why this work matters so much to me.
As a paralegal at Meeks Impact Law, I work closely with our attorneys each day to keep cases moving forward, from setting up insurance claims to coordinating medical appointments with the right providers. My goal is to take as much stress off our clients as possible so they can focus on what matters most: healing.
“I treat every case as if it were my own or involved someone in my family.”
That mindset shapes how I communicate, advocate, and care for the people we serve. I want every client to feel heard, understood, and supported, whether I am helping move the legal process forward or simply being the person they can call when the process feels frustrating.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I now live in Woodstock, Georgia. Outside of work, I enjoy flipping furniture, baking, gardening, cheering on the Steelers on Sundays, and spending time with my kids.

In my role at Meeks Impact Law, I have the opportunity to connect injured individuals with the dedicated legal representation they deserve. With more than 20 years of experience in the medical and personal injury fields, I have seen firsthand how overwhelming the recovery process can be. My goal is to ensure that every person who reaches out to our firm feels heard, supported, and guided toward the right resources for both their case and their healing.
My background includes experience in Orthopedics, Respiratory care, Neurosurgery, Neurology, and chiropractic settings, which has given me a strong understanding of the medical aspects of injury cases. I now use that experience to help strengthen relationships between healthcare providers and legal advocates, ensuring injury victims receive coordinated care and effective legal support. At Meeks Impact Law, we recognize that an injury impacts far more than physical health, and I am committed to helping people take informed, confident steps toward recovery and justice.
Born in Saigon, Vietnam, my family came to the United States as refugees when I was three years old, and I became a U.S. citizen in sixth grade. After spending time in Dayton, Ohio, I have lived in Georgia for nearly a decade, where I have built both my career and a strong sense of community. I enjoy bringing people together, whether through my work or by sharing good food, drinks, and meaningful conversation with friends.
What I value most about working at Meeks Impact Law is being part of a team that genuinely cares about our clients, our community, and one another. We are more than legal advocates. We are a source of guidance and support during some of the most challenging moments in people’s lives, and I am honored to play a role in that connection.
